First post. thought i make a blog about my thoughts and opinions about the soap operas that I watch. And who knows whos actually reading this any ways. IN MY OPINION:
Guiding Light:
Guiding Light Has been in a slump ever since Two of its lead stars left the show. Stephanie Gatschet and Tom Pelphrey ( Tammy and Jonathan the popular couple Jammy) The Writers Did not know what to do after the death of tammy and the "death" of Jonathan and Baby Sarah. The Story Lines went bland and the show lost a significant amount of viewers. A Lot of Jammy Fans were upset with how there departure was handle and refused to watch again.
Alot of people fast Forward when they see the couple of Josh and Cassie. They, Like me want to barf when they are The actors are wonderful but they have no chemistry together compared to the supercouple Josh and Reva Jeva. It has been told that the worst eppisode of Guiding Light was when Josh and Cassie first Hit the sheets. The Powers that Be need to understand that No one in there right mind likes "cash", But they keep forcing us to watch the happy couple go skinny dipping and what not and to have Josh become a minister of all things!! Sorry but Josh in no way can become a minister He has sinned to much with Reva in his youth and his Fiancee is an Ex Stripper! I liked Josh helping people but this minister thing has gone way too far and it needs to be forgotten seeing Josh with cassie and rev rutledge ( what happened to Father Ray?) makes me sick and I makes me dislike josh even more what happened to his backbone? Cassie Switching the Paternity of Alan and Beth baby is in -excusable and yet he sees the light of what cassie did. COME ON JOSH!! what if reva did that what would you ? yell at her and break up with her thats whats the fans want the death of CASH.
Moving on:
Gina T. ( dinah ) is doing a wonderful job as playing a mentally challenged victim of a gun shot to the head. Her in the bathroom with matt made me cry and feel bad for. The Actors have nice chemistry together this might lead into a posssible Love triangle between Matt/Dinah/Mallet.
Ever since Jammy departed I haven't had a couple that I was rooting for till now Cyrus and Marina are my new light Of Guiding light. They have the potiental to be soo much more. Next Week on Guiding Light: Cyrus marries Spaulding heiress Alexandra Spaulding for a green card so he can stay and be with the lovely Marina Cooper. Alex says he has to be very discreet with Marina so you can expect hidden moments and Forbidden Love I can't wait this Couple is the reason why some of the old Jammy Fans are watching now and the ratings for Gl has gone up just a tiny little bit.
Rafe and Daisy:
Young Love, Guiding Light is giving us another Forbidden Teen Love story between Harley and Dylan Daughter Daisy Lemay and Natalia and Gus's Son Rafe. There are alot of mixed reviews Some People love him Some People Can't stand them I personally Like them they are cute together during Juvee they were cute I was rooting for them. I can't wait to see how this plays out
Olivia/Jeffery/Reva:
Guiding Light has once again but the rivial between Olivia and Reva they are "fighting" over Jeffery O'neil Jeffery and Reva are comic Relief For GL and are a Fun Couple. Olivia steaming is fun to watch I do like Jeffery and Olivia together they do share a daughter Ava who is madly in love with coop who has the hotts for Ashlee. I wouldnt mind if Jeffery and reva were together or Jeffery and Olivia but with the rumor of CC out I doubt that Olivia and Jeffery will live.
Ashlee/coop/ava:
Cooplee is one of the cutest things on daytime today the Actors Chemistry is non stop were as ava and coop are snoozeville There is lack of character direction with Ava she should be with Alan Micheal or Leave Springfield. Alan Micheal Left because Of lack of character direction which is completely absured he had so many SL to go on Ava and Alan Micheal WORKED and TPTB never gave them a chance they should bring back alan micheal and stick him with ava again He's the only thing that worked with AvaTron 3000.
Set Design:
I am PLEADING FOR GUIDING LIGHT to get new sets How many people can Live in the Beacon HOTEL.?! its a hotel for god sakes they have people who actually have homes have rooms in the Beacon! that is totally outlandish ! we needs sets we need cross creek, bauer home, lewis home, and GUS AND HARLEYS HOUSE TO BE FINISHED.?
